Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Day to day you will check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code.
