Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turner in Wilson County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day to day you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
