Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Irion County, Texas. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time with occasional weekends.
