Materials handling operator — Plaquemines Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a freight and logistics depot. On a typical shift you will charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely; transport raw materials and finished goods between bays; sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
