Pipe tig welder wanted in Dallas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Dallas County, Alabama. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
