We are recruiting: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Jenkins County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card 3+ years on the tools preferred.
