Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Montgomery County, Texas. The job is at an automobile body shop. On a typical shift you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
