Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 3+ years on the tools preferred.
