Domestic gas engineer • Kiowa County, Colorado

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Kiowa County, Colorado. You will work in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites Six days a week, one day off.
