Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Bryan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Bryan County, Oklahoma. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
