Precision welder • Geary County, Kansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Geary County, Kansas. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts.
