Urgent requirement: lifting rigger (Tennessee)

Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Madison County, Tennessee. The job is on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
