Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The job is in a catering unit. Your main tasks: • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures Ideal candidate: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Part-time with flexible hours.
