We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Matagorda County, Texas. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
