Concrete finisher • Union County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Union County, South Dakota. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
