Wood machinist — Clark County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wood machinist in Clark County, Arkansas. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. On the job you will handle: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
