You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
