Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Borough of Bolton, England. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Full-time, day shift.
