Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Stephenson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Stephenson County, Illinois. The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
