Port container crane operator — Ripley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Ripley County, Missouri. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts The role involves rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines.
