Great opportunity: we are hiring a manufacturing operative in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. The role involves feed raw material into the hopper and monitor the flow; weigh, measure and label raw materials before each batch; operate and feed production machines on the line; check products against the sample for colour, size and finish; carry out in-line quality checks and reject defective pieces. What we are looking for: • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly • Basic reading skills to follow SOPs and labels • Comfortable with repetitive, fast-paced work 5+ years on the tools preferred. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
