We are recruiting: scaffold fitter (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in City of Covington, Virginia. You will erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
