Shuttering charge hand wanted in Caroline County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Caroline County, Maryland. Day to day you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Six days a week, one day off.
