Rebar installer • Haywood County, North Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Haywood County, North Carolina. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience.
