Brick mason wanted in Columbia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Columbia County, Georgia. You will work at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
