Lifting rigger wanted in Rankin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Rankin County, Mississippi. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
