Formwork carpenter • Hood River County, Oregon

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Hood River County, Oregon. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters.
