Immediate opening: moulder (Arkansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Ouachita County, Arkansas. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring.
