Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Your main tasks: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
