Gas installation technician — Ibadan South West

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Ibadan South West, Oyo State. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
