Great opportunity: finish carpenter (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day to day you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Full-time with occasional weekends.
