Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in White County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in White County, Tennessee. You will be based on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Full-time with occasional weekends.
