Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Illela, Sokoto State. You will work at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Full-time, day shift.
