Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Gwarzo, Kano State. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day to day you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; run load and overload tests with test weights; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators.
