TIG welder wanted in Awka North

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Awka North, Anambra State. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
