Stainless steel welder • Kajola, Oyo State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kajola, Oyo State. The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 2+ years on the tools preferred.
