Site safety steward • Northampton County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Northampton County, Virginia. Day to day you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Rotating shifts.
