Cold room technician • Salt Lake County, Utah

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold room technician in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. The role involves wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; service split AC units and VRF systems; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves. Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
