Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Isle of Wight, England. On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Full-time, day shift.
