Car painter — City of Fredericksburg

Vacancy available: we are hiring a car painter in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Requirements: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns The role involves wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters.
