Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Albemarle County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
