Finishing presser wanted in Jasper County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Jasper County, Georgia. You will be based in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
