Quality assurance assistant • Dallas County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Dallas County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits.
