Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in McCormick County, South Carolina. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
