Sheet metal welder wanted in Lee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lee County, Virginia. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
