Great opportunity: halal butcher (Vermont)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a halal butcher in Orleans County, Vermont. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On a typical shift you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled.
