Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Funtua, Katsina State. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts The role involves cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
