Elevator technician • Sumter County, South Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Sumter County, South Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 1+ years on the tools preferred.
