Steel fixer wanted in Ripley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ripley County, Missouri. You will be based on a busy residential building site. On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
