Earthmoving plant operator • Sumter County, South Carolina

Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Sumter County, South Carolina. You will work at a landfill site. On the job you will handle: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
